8 survive air crash in India

8 people have survived today’s air crash in India. The other 158 died. The figures have been specified by the Director of the Air India air carrier, which had flown the crashed Boeing-737. According to the official, 166 people, including six crewmembers, were on board the Express flight from Dubai to Mangalore. The national belonging of the crash victims is currently being established. The Air India Director failed to specify the citizenship of the pilot who had been at the control wheel. According to the local news media, the pilot could have been a Russian or Serbian national, who worked for Air India under contract. It was also reported that the airliner caught fire when coming in to land and fell about 10 kilometres away from the Mangalore airport runway.
