මාතර කිඹුලෝ ගොඩ බසිති

ගංවතුර ඇතිවීමෙන් පසු‍ කිඹුලන් හා සර්පයින් විශාල වශයෙන් ගොඩබිමට ඇදී එන්නට පටන් ගෙන තිබෙනවා.නිල්වලා ගඟ අවට අකුරැස්ස ප්‍රදේශයේ කිඹුලන් ගොඩබිම සැරිසැරීම නිසා ගම් වැසියන්ට තම වත්ත පිටිය වැඩ කරගැනීම අසීරු වි තිබෙනවා.විශේෂයෙන් කුඩා ළමුන්ගේ ප්‍රවේශම ගැන දෙමව්පියන් සැලකිලිමත් වනවා.
ගංවතුර බැසයාමත් සමග කිඹුලන් නැවත ගඟ වෙත යතැයි බලධාරීන් විශ්වාස කරනවා.
Crocodiles visit the Southern villages
After the floods the villagers in the South have to face crocodiles and reptiles .
Villagers around the Nilwala river say that they are not able to get about with their day to day work because of the fear of being attacked by crocodiles.
A number of crocodiles have been seen in the Kamburupitiya area.
It is said that the crocodiles will return to the river once the flooding clears.
